On May 16, the technical committee of the national Pseudosciaena crocea genetic breeding center was established in Ningde City, Fujian Province, and the first meeting of the first committee was held. GUI Jianfang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mai Kangsen and Liu Shaojun, academicians of the Chinese Academy of engineering, Shen canhuang, Secretary of the Party committee of Jimei University, Liang Weixin, mayor and Huang Guozhang, vice mayor attended the meeting.
　　Huang Guozhang addressed the meeting and congratulated on the establishment of the technical committee.     At present, the annual output of Pseudosciaena crocea in the city has reached 178000 tons, forming an industry with an annual seedling production of more than 2billion, the breeding output accounting for 80% of the country, and the output value of the whole industrial chain of more than 10 billion yuan. He hoped that the technical committee of the national Pseudosciaena crocea genetic breeding center would deepen the cooperation between industry, University and research, promote the transformation and application of scientific research achievements, blossom and bear fruit in the research and development of Pseudosciaena crocea seed industry as soon as possible, promote the expansion and strengthening of Ningde Pseudosciaena crocea industry through active breeding of improved varieties, and inject new impetus into Ningde's efforts to write a chapter of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way.
　　The meeting listened to the report on the construction of large yellow croaker genetic breeding center and the research work of large yellow croaker genetic breeding, and reviewed and approved the work plan and operation mechanism of the genetic breeding center. After the meeting, the participants also inspected the national Guanjingyang large yellow croaker breeding farm, the national large yellow croaker genetic breeding center and the marine breeding base to learn more about the development of the large yellow croaker industry in Ningde City.
